Liz Homer

Liz Homer creates hand-stitched journals from vintage and upcycled materials. A lifelong journalist and memory keeper, she crafts books that hold space for new stories while honoring the histories embedded in aged papers and textiles.

Guided by her love of vintage ephemera, Liz designs journals as functional heirlooms—beautiful vessels for reflection, writing, and creativity. She hopes they inspire connection and spark imagination.

For 24 years, Liz worked as a professional photographer, hand-painting portraits and assembling wedding albums by hand. After retiring, she began making journals for herself and, with encouragement from her family, expanded her practice to share them with others.

Liz wants each journal to feel deeply personal—inviting touch, reflection, and memory-making.

At age 50, Liz began a new chapter as a Special Education ESP in the Asbury Park School District. She considers this role a blessing that inspires both gratitude and creativity.
