Ilene Hillary Hinden blends digital and traditional art to create works that are both visually innovative and emotionally resonant. Her art reflects a lifelong commitment to finding beauty in struggle and transformation.
Ilene began painting at age five and later built a career as a fine artist, art director, and designer. Over time, she developed a hybrid practice that unites classical foundations with modern tools.
Her work focuses on perseverance, renewal, and the search for joy. She wants her art to uplift, offering hope and meaning during difficult times.
Ilene’s goal is to inspire viewers to embrace both vulnerability and strength—to see beauty even in adversity.

Had a lovely time here with my partner. I love the concept of the place. We especially appreciated that there were art projects available for a variety of skill levels. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. The attached art supply thrift store is very cool too.

I hosted a small get together for my daughter’s tenth birthday and I couldn’t be happier.
The staff was kind, patient and encouraging. They truly made all of the girls feel comfortable and supported, helping them bring their ideas to life.
I especially loved that each child created something completely unique!
We recently held a team-building event at Asbury Park Art Club and had a fantastic experience. The venue has a cool, artsy seaside vibe and aesthetic that sets a creative tone. Our small group of 7 made Découpage Seashells, which is a seasonal project. Karen and her staff were very attentive throughout the process, providing guidance to our group and ensuring we had everything we needed. It’s the perfect space for a small group seeking a unique experience.
What a wonderful little gem in Asbury Park. We made our crafts and had plenty of encouragement from the owner and staff. I highly recommend this place for a fun afternoon with kids (and not so little kids!)
